Job Description Summary

               

Lamb Weston is searching for a Financial Analyst who will collaborate with cross-functional business partners to provide business analytics and fact-based recommendations that will drive our organization forward and deliver against stated objectives. This role will support the Foodservice Non-Commercial Sales Team.

Job Description

Provides direct support to the Foodservice Non-Commercial Sales Team. Expert on current contracts, rebate programs, and P&L for non-commercial and GPO customers.  Strong understanding of the flow of Non-Commercial and GPO funds through the Lamb Weston financial systems and can report on actual results vs contracted expectations.   

• Perform data-driven analyses that define, measure, and investigate current operational trends, financial trends, and strategic insights related to GPO/FSM’s
• Identify and present opportunities to drive pricing accuracy, maximize gross margin profit, monitor areas of potential risk, and enhance the efficiency of existing pricing related processes. Responsible for designing and leading enhancements.
• Update & audit pricelists – external and internal
• Provide P&Ls and volume forecasts for Non-Commercial team
• Develop and document procedures to ensure financial return for GPOs is visible
• Develop KPI’s and trends affecting GPO/FSM
• Update and track freight rates as needed
• Assist sales in contract negotiations, including items slated for price changes
• Maintain price comparisons, complete dual claim analyses
• Other duties as assigned

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance required
• 3 years of professional experience in financial analysis and data management

Skills:

• Knowledge of P&L management and generally accepted accounting principles
• Demonstrate ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data into key financial recommendations
• Ability to present complex financial data using detailed reports and charts to both internal and external audience
• Demonstrated successful interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Strong ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, build consensus, and lead initiatives in an organized and efficient manner
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP software tools preferred
• Knowledge of applications such as Power Bi preferred
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
• Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge
• Demonstrate ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $69,500.00 - $104,240.00
