Job Description Summary

               

This position performs the transport, loading and offloading of materials and other warehouse duties in a timely and safe manner to fulfill the needs of production and our customers. This role is pivotal to maintaining production flow, ensuring we can provide quality products to our customers.

Job Description

  • Follows outlined duties as assigned in daily inbound / outbound schedule from warehouse management. 

  • Maintains the principles of first in / first out (FIFO) in the storage and retrieval of materials.  

  • Transport materials and finished goods within production and warehouse facilities. 

  • Coordinates with other lift truck drivers and production personnel to ensure the efficient performance of warehouse and production processes.  

  • Prioritizes multiple tasks to maximize work efficiency.  

  • Sanitation duties as required to maintain a clean and safe environment.  

  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving forklift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.  

  • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral) (Requirement may vary by location). 

  • Ability to perform basic math functions, required.  

  • Must be able to communicate using plant 2-way radio system. 

  • Applicability of job levels varies by location and is determined by the plant skills matrix.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $23.44
