Job Description Summary

The Sr. Manager SAP Development is responsible for managing priorities related to Incidents, Enhancements and Projects related to SAP development. This individual will be managing the SAP AMS Development Team, including both onshore and offshore. This role will work directly with SAP Functional, SAP Architecture and SAP Change Management teams to ensure proper solutions are developed with quality code.Job Description
Own the development lifecycle for SAP solutions, including build, testing, deployment, and optimizationÂ
Provide oversight on technical design, integrations, and custom development across ERP modulesÂ
Oversee delivery of SAP transformation and development projects, including S/4HANA programs, ensuring scope, timelines, budget, and quality are metÂ
Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails for SAP ObjectsÂ
Partner with Functional Consultants (MM, EWM, TM, IBP, PP/DS, etc.) to validate functional designs and ensure architectural integrityÂ
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging best practices and emerging SAP technologiesÂ
Ensure adherence to clean-core principles and minimize unnecessary customizationÂ
Diagnose complex SAP system issues and drive resolution in coordination with technical experts and vendorsÂ
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent experienceÂ
10–15 years of experience in SAP development, architecture, or technical leadershipÂ
Experience overseeing complex SAP landscapes and multi-module integrationsÂ
Expertise in SAP development technologies (ABAP, CDS, OData, BTP, Fiori, AIF) and SAP modules relevant to the organizationÂ
Extensive experience working with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANAÂ development environments.Â
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilitiesÂ
Experience working with AMS or external delivery partnersÂ
Strong ability to communicate complex development concepts to both technical and business stakeholdersÂ
