The Supply Chain Project Manager leads complex, cross‑functional projects that enable operational efficiency, cost optimization, and improved supply chain performance. This role applies strong project management discipline to drive planning, execution, and delivery of initiatives spanning procurement, logistics, distribution, inventory management, systems implementation, and network optimization.This leader manages diverse stakeholder groups, builds alignment across supply chain functions, and ensures project outcomes support broader business strategies.
Job Description
Project Leadership & ExecutionÂ
Lead largescale or multiple mid-sized supply chain projects from initiation through delivery, applying established project management methodologiesÂ
Define project scope, goals, success metrics, and timelines; monitor progress and lead corrective actions as needed.Â
Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, status reports, risk logs, and stakeholder communications.Â
Facilitate decision-making in ambiguous situations by balancing available data, risks, and shifting priorities, consistent with expectations in the reference document. Â
Cross-Functional CollaborationÂ
Drive planning and execution efforts with partners across procurement, sourcing, transportation, distribution, finance, technology, store operations, and external vendors.Â
Build high performing project teams, often including geographically distributed stakeholders, as outlined in the Project Manager expectations in the uploaded file. Â
Serve as a connector between technical teams and business leaders to ensure shared understanding of project objectives and outcomes.Â
Active member of the enterprise Project Management Community of Practice, representing Supply Chain and sharing best practices across functions.Â
Strategic Alignment & CommunicationÂ
Communicate how each project supports broader supply chain and enterprise goals, reflecting alignment expectations from the provided project manager standards. Â
Present project updates to leadership, ensuring transparency on milestones, risks, resourcing, and financial impacts.Â
Partner with supply chain leaders to prioritize projects based on business value, urgency, and interdependencies.Â

Risk, Issue & Change ManagementÂ
Identify and mitigate risks across cost, quality, schedule, scope, and cross functional dependencies, incorporating standard PM practices referenced in the file. Â
Navigate organizational processes, policies, and cultures to remove barriers and manage change effectively.Â
Ensure stakeholder impacts are understood and supported with appropriate change management plans.Â
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Education/ Certifications:Â (Required & Preferred)Â
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field required.Â
PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile certification preferred.Â

Skills and Experience: Â
5+Â years project management experience, including scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications (aligned with uploaded document requirements)Â
3+ years managing largescale or multiple mid-sized projects. Â
2 yrs mentoring other project managers in program and project managementÂ
Prior project work in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or operations environments.Â
Experience with supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP).Â
Experience managing vendors or third‑party logistics partners.Â
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with demonstrated business acumen.Â
Business Acumen & Problem Solving: Understands operational impacts and optimizes processes across the end-to-end supply chain. Â
Prioritization & Planning: Focuses on the most critical work, adjusting effectively to shifting priorities. Â
Collaboration & Communication: Builds alignment and models collaborative behaviors, consistent with the reference PM expectations. Â
